While they are busy with the burning, read the note under the table. Then put it in your pocket. After the fake note has been burnt, deal up some random cards. Deal them with the face up. At this point just make up stuff about the cards and your subject (like you are reading their fortune). At the end of the "reading", stare hard at the subject.
